About the Series
Places and objects leave their mark in your memory, but one doesn’t perceive these things like a photograph. We remember things in fragments; snippets of light, color and form that call out in some significant way. Drawing from a two-fold fascination, part love of Japan and part love of Impressionism, the body explores themes of place, object, and the memories associated with them.
The final series was exhibited in a two-person show with artist and designer Marisa Ten Brink.
